“Thoughtful Remark About All Things” is the debut EP performed by multi-disciplinary artist Cristian Cinque, formerly known under the moniker Blood On Black Leather.
Cristian Cinque is an Italian artist working within an interdisciplinary art practice in such mediums as photography, music, mixed media, video and film.
With a long career in the post-industrial music scene, Cristian Cinque evolved an increasingly eclectic musical idiom.
Composed, written, recorded and post-produced entirely by Blood On Black Leather, the EP contains five new tracks accompanied by an analogue photographic project.
As added value, the tracklist features Cristian Cinque’s Italian poem entitled “Il Filo di Lama”.
“Thoughtful Remark About All Things” focuses on hidden feelings, like in a psychoanalytic session.
The sound is dirty but romantic. A mixture of blackened introspective attitude and cinematic dramatic lines.
The EP is of short duration. A photograph taken with a fast shutter speed.
The final catharsis is a mellow quality polaroid.
